I like to keep up with the scores and the site I did use is now carp, so I found another. Just checked to see how the local derby is going and really like the new site with its blow by blow animation of the match live, ideal if not on the TV. The match will probably be over the time anybody looks (choose another that’s live) and you may already know the site, but thought I’d post anyway. https://int.soccerway.com/matches/2019/05/12/france/ligue-1/stade-rennais-fc/en-avant-de-guingamp/2792573/

BTW, it covers all the national leagues with all tables, which is good. Just scroll down past the info for the tables.

    Yeah, good sites, thanks.

My side Caen have two games to save themselves but they are away to Lyon and at home to Bordeaux so it’s looking grim for them.

My local team Rodez have won the third division title so go up next season which isn’t bad for a pretty small club.

    You’re welcome, Pete.

Guingamp, my nearest team in Ligue 1, is sadly going down for sure, so will be playing Rodez and also Caen again, unless they pull one out of the bag.

Then Rennes and they’re safe in Ligue 1.

I can imagine! They made it to the Coupe de la Ligue final, had done well, especially in penalty shoot outs…..until that final! Lost 4-1, so he’ll be choked at that too.

A club close to his heart, he was an apprentice there a few years back but realised he wasn’t good enough. His best mate is Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal) who had a bit more talent !

Wonder if Koscielny would mind going back to Guingamp for a while, they could do with him and maybe your mate too.

It’s like Caen, not one of the most afluent of clubs.
