Received a dodgy email today supposedly from Credit Agricole asking us to log into our account because we had a message.  We didn’t but forwarded the email to CA and they telephoned us immediately and told us to log into our account 3 times with an incorrect login number, thereby locking the account.  Be warned folks.  The email looked completely genuine!  :negative:

Only from logging into it on internet banking.  Only locking access.

Rule Number One: – Best never to log into any important/private/secure site from a link that is sent in an email. Even if it is an unimportant site it can be a trap that results in your email being spammed.

Can you copy the contents of the email here, KB, so we CA account holders can see and take note?

I often get emails from the likes of Paypal and banks telling me I can now see a statement of account if I click here for espace client, they are genuine but I never click on the link in the email, I go to the relevant website.

Vegemite Kid – unfortunately CA told us to delete it but they were going to issue a copy of it to their account holders on your CA  messagerie.
