Not content with just finding a metal Easter egg in the garden, we took delivery of two chicks yesterday that had been found by a cat wandering in a lane. They are very cute little peeping alarm clocks. (Blurry photo as they are also fast moving alarm clocks).

Happy Easter one and all :rose:

Aaah, what lucky chicks finding you and Tom. A little metal Easter egg, two little Easter babies, now hopefully a whopping great big chocolate Easter egg!😈

Lovely little Easter gifts! It’s happy Easter for those two cuties finding themselves in your  care. Their colours made Black & Tan come to my mind (the name of a drink – Guinness on light ale) !! Not what you’ve called them I bet Witchy ;-)

Apparently the cat was just watching them, lucky escape.

Still arguing about names, hard to decide as we don’t know if they are boys or girls yet.  I’ll put those names on the list Fruitcake, Wizards suggestion we call one Trump has been crossed off the list…

All you needed was an Easter bunny to turn up and you would’ve had the full set. Happy Easter!

I was given a chocolate bunny yesterday to complete the set, I’ve eaten his head though

A few few weeks on and it’s Trumpet and Trevor’s first day out in the big world.

Looks like they’re sticking close together, hope they enjoy their sunny sojourn, Witchy.

They look like trouble makers to me, WP, let’s not forget they managed to sweet talk the cat in the first place, not an easy task I wouldn’t have thought. :-) Great names.

Trumpet & Trevor look right at home, well done you for raising them so well! They have certainly grown. I wonder if the black one (Trumpet or Trevor?) is a Maran?
