I have been looking for another laptop on Ebay and found several worth looking at!  however apart for the horrific  ” Global shipping charges” (£25+) was the import charges of around £125!!!! for a laptop costing £200.

So much for free trade under Brexit, I thought there were not going to be custom charges!  :-(

If any part of the item is not British, then tariffs have to be paid, so free trade without taxes and customs won’t apply to most items.  But then the UK government forgot to mention that didn’t they.

    Er!!
Benefits of brexit were meant for them wot live in UK not Europe. Don’t tell me you didn’t realise that!
yep laptops available in UK with querty keyboard are cheaper in UK quelle surprise.
Buy one en France 🇫🇷 oh! Just realised they are more expensive, who would have thunk it.
Would that be classed as a Brexit benefit? More to follow as they now start to appear daily.

    Sorry Gleaner.
    Thought you were being offensive.
I know realise you meant you have a TW@T keyboard instead of querty.

It’s qwerty, Greta, not querty, and why has Rich by Name disappeared but you’re still here? His posts were at least interactive with other members, whereas yours tend, mostly, to try to wind things up.

    Vicky

my posts are as interactive with Gleaner as Gleaner is with me, perhaps even, less offensive.
once again, I don’t like the comment, please sir! Sir it’s not fair, please delete her.

I would appreciate an explaination as to why RBN has been removed and the person who is causing all the problems here remains. This is getting beyond a joke

    Am I missing something?
