In less than 30 minutes the best football competition in the world starts at Wembley in London, the FA Cup Final. The Watford colours (more or less) are strewn round my house. Only supporting them because I do not like either Manchester team. Here are my celebratory nibbles for the Watford win result!

    Come on the HORNETS! :yahoo:

Unfortunately,  I  am not able  to watch it.  But I wish the Hornets all the best too.

    As regards nibbles…..

Ah, victuals I have though :yahoo:

I’ve got it sussed now tigre. Full temperature for about 60 minutes and then throw them out for monsieur Renard. ;-)

Poor result for me but then again in sport money always wins.

Rather aggresive answer to a fun thread Futureman. I never mentioned Man C’s ethnic make up and their cost.

Ethnic make up is nothing to do with foreign input, Ray. I heard the other day that of the four English teams in the European finals, 72% are foreign signings. Doesn’t say much for home-grown talent, does it?

Doesn’t say much for home grown talent? I think not. The youngsters in the UK don’t stand a chance because all the Premiership clubs just buy in ready made talent to the detriment of home grown lads being brought up through the ranks. :negative:

What’s the difference between home grown talent and ready made talent? Talent’s talent regardless of whether its home grown or ready made.

Great to see one of my old clubs win the FA Vase at the weekend. Several old soccer mates went, some having played in the past for Chertsey and said that it was a really good game, Chertsey Town winning 3-1 against Cray Valley Paper Mills after extra time. Have to say I had never heard of Cray Valley Paper Mills but the lads said they were a good side……
