@jazzy But who could possibly have left a creme egg to go to waste?!

@gleaner I shall keep an eye in case it hatches.

@babeth it’s quite small, no wider than a 2 euro coin, I’ll try firing across the room with my hair band and see if I can hit the wizard.

The  rest of you are terrible and are not taking this seriously at all, I was hoping you were going to tell me it was an early faberge egg worth eleventy billion pounds

WP, may be someone once lived in your cottage that was employed and for some reason sacked from a company that produced Boules sets.

WP – build a big bonfire.  Light it, walk into the fire with the egg and you should come out with a dragon.  Good luck.

Too small to be from a golden goose then!

Seriously WP it’s an Igneous rock

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igneous_rock

Which is what Google reckons when I asked for it to search the image

(Of course it might be talking about the rock your ‘egg’ is sitting on!!)

I didn’t realise it was so small, forget my ridiculous suggestion, WP. :rose:

It looks quite tactile, nice to keep.

This could in deed be gnode from space

There used to be a shop in Brest and Roscoff which sold this kind of thing but I am certain if you were to look and really need to know there are other places in this area who could help.

Maybe better to keep it as a curiosity and entertain your friend etc with it.

There are a number of photos of similar “rocks” on the site below. have you put a magnet against it to see if it is metal

I shall hunt for a magnet @paul –  it’s not rock fruity but thank you!

@tigre it could have been someone sacked from the boules company for making small egg shaped boules!

@angela, if I end up with a dragon I’ll let you know, if not I shall be the smouldering round the edges one in the garden

Had a friend visiting who uses crystals for healing. She said it’s iron pyrite – otherwise known as fools gold or poor mans gold.

Iron Pyrite is a multi-purpose stone. It is known for bringing good luck, abundance and prosperity to the user. This stone is useful for manifestation of all kinds. If you are feeling stuck and need a creative or energetic boost, carry iron Pyrite. It can balance intuition with mental mindfulness.

Iron Pyrite has unique protective qualities. Not only can it repel negative or unwanted energies from the aura, it can also help to release those same emotional frequencies from the body and mind, instilling feelings of self-worth and confidence. The calming sense of safety one feels when carrying Iron Pyrite allows centered thought and focus without the constant inner mental chatter that often accompanies fear.

Pyrite has the ability to lift depression, increase physical energy and enhance the surrounding environment with cheer and good will.

    No faberge or dragons sadly.

Well, I’m not sure a Fabergé egg would have bring you all that, and to be honest, I find them a bit kitch, but my own taste of course. Beauty is subjective !
