Not sure if this is the place to ask questions or not; so I’m going to anyway. Does anyone know what the size of the box is where you pop your background image? There’s no way of centering the image, as with the profile picture.
I have tried several images but they are all squiffy and it drives me mad. Yes, I do face all my labels forward in the cupboard, straighten pictures hanging on the wall (wherever they are) and constantly pull the rug so it’s parallel with the front of the hearth. But, before you build up the wrong image of me, my work desk is carnage.
Also my profile pic was told ‘image file too big’. So what’s the limit?
Many thanks dear posters. This is my first.031st March 2016 at 3:17 pm #2951

There was a post on this, here it is
If you have trouble adding an image to your classified listing it may be too big. If it is you need to resize it before uploading it.
You can always resize your images on your computer before uploading them but if you don’t know how you may find it easier to do it online.
Here is how.
Go to: http://imageresize.org/
Upload image from you computer
Select Resize Option – 25%, 50%, 75% of original size
Click “Process Image”
Right click new resized image and download031st March 2016 at 6:45 pm #3003
Thanks Turquoise, that website is handy. If I knew what the size of each box; the profile pic and the background image I could adjust it to fit and then it would look centred.
Never mind, it’s a small thing.031st March 2016 at 8:56 pm #3038

850 x 225 pixels for the background image and 150 x 150 pixels for the profile picture.
As for the ‘image file too big’ comment, it’s the ‘weight’ in MB or KB: go to shrinkpictures.com to compress the size to something more acceptable.07th April 2016 at 11:17 am #4951
Thank you Vegemite, I shall try that.07th April 2016 at 11:48 am #4957

For those that want a very quick easy and simple free download for managing pictures then download Picasa3 its a free google download, really easy to use quite basic but certainly fills the void if you just want to simply touch up your pics or very simply re-size them0
