    This has been in my head all day, it’s for my hero Mr Wizard :rose:
    ‘If’ by Rudyard Kipling

    If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
    If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
    Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

    If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
    If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
    If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
    Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

    If you can make one heap of all your winnings
    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
    And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
    If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
    And so hold on when there is nothing in you
    Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

    If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
    Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
    If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
    If you can fill the unforgiving minute
    With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
    Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
    And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

    If I can’t fit through a door, I just make it wider, failing that smash it down

    Love it!
    That’s kinda like this Chinese Proverb,

    “Unless we change directions, we are likely to end up where we are going.” :heart:

    That is so true, but please don’t say that to me after a bottle of wine, I change direction many a time and still get to where I should be ;-)

    Margaret Mead once said this,

    “A small group of thoughtful people could change the world.
    Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

    As true today as it ever was B-)

    I agree cool, feeling a bit deflated today. Someone asked for honest feedback, when I gave it, they didn’t like it and are acting petulant. So much for honesty.

    My quote for today

    If you don’t want it, don’t ask for it!!!

    I’ve always felt the following to be quite apt.

    “If you keep on doing what you’ve always done
    you’ll keep on getting what you’ve always got.”

    That is so true Sanjon, how can someone make change if they cannot truly reflect.

    @sanjon, very much along the same lines as the definition of insanity.
    Doing the same thing over and over and still expecting a different result :yes:

    “All the world will be your enemy, Prince of a Thousand enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you; digger, listener, runner, Prince with the swift warning. Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed.” – Richard Adams, Watership Down.

    If I could write as fast as I
    could think then I would surely try
    to drown the world in floods of ink
    and put on paper all I think.
    But thinking is a quicker art
    than writing is, and so I start
    to wonder what the world has lost
    and if the lack of time the cost?
    I’m sure that I am not alone,
    I think I need a dictaphone!
