I shall certainly be voting in the European elections. I have always voted in European elections : when I lived in the UK I voted for a British party and since living in France for a French party.

It may seem pointless if you live in the UK but if you believe that the UK should remain in the EU then it seems sensible to vote for one of the remain parties. It is unfortunate however that the remain parties have not joined together under a common list.

Janet, once the UK leave the EU, the vote becomes pointless as any person or party voted for immediately has to leave the EU parliament…..

What if? What if the UK doesn’t leave in October, what if it ends up being another year or maybe two? Voter apathy on the part of people who have to right to vote could allow Farage and co to rule the roost, stir up the gullible even more leading to a good showing in the next GE. Could end up with Farage and co having a mouth in Parliament. Won’t be able to blame me, I can’t vote.

I always vote, even if I’m not 100% convinced by the candidate. In that case I vote against the worst candidate. It’s dangerous not to vote. It’s a right and a duty. My opinion.

    If you don’t vote …you can’t complain.

I still think it’s useful to vote, even if you live in the UK.  If you believe in Europe, you don’t want Farage winning all the seats. Every vote counts.

    “If you believe in Europe.”

I suppose that depends on what sort of Europe you want.
