It’s not difficult to understand why the gentleman didn’t reply , he just received a lot of abuse .

Yes, he certainly has received a lot of abuse, some of it, a little harsh I feel.

A response from him, would be nice though

This is from the start of the Brexit is good post started by Andrew J. I conclude this post therefore must be a wind up. Also I think he meant to say leaving the EU and not UK.

    Hi folks,

Can all the ‘naysayers’ stop being selfish for a moment  and accept that the UK leaving the UK might just be a GOOD thing?

You are all ‘whinging’ about ‘poor you’ but if you live here and pay your taxes here you have nothing to fear, it’s just like living in any other ‘foreign country’. You are Expats, not ‘citizens’ and you have to meet and abide by the rules of your CHOSEN ‘host country”!

Or did I miss something? Do/did you expect the fact that you are ‘British’ give you some inalienable rights?

Just to add, if you do have a UK bank account and have not declared it, it is a 1,500 euro fine if they find out.

Apart from Mrs. May….John is always polite.

maybe include all politicians…having said that Brexit has bought out the worst in many of us……including myself!

    abuse is a strong word…

Your smiley suggests that was  tongue in cheek. I think my comment was self explanatory really. If you make contraversial comments, expect a bit of stick! :-)

Luckily a certain Mrs May (and friends don’t ) read this site , it also depends on what one finds controversial ? :-)

absolutely obvious that Andrew J .has no intention of responding.

For anyone to write as he has and not expect less than kind responses ,he is a pot stirrer .

“less than frank”he has misled the tax man…what sort of idiot says that on an open forum?

pumkin …those of us who have paid all our taxes in both countries are certainly going to be less than sympathetic,(yes …both countries…before anyone comments)

Andrew…you love France and your lovely partner…pay your way,you can’t just enjoy without paying on your income.
