Our garden is a little full of building rubble but these little beauties managed to find their way through.

My garden at the last house – now, sadly has been left to overgrow, rack and ruin.

    'Forever Together' Hydrangea

My garden now – where on earth to start!

I’m using a Lumix TZ70. Clarity talking, here are others pics I took a while ago. This is a nice pocket camera, but doesn’t do everything, the light and subject are important too. A lot of my pics finish up in the bin !

Those are great! Thanks, Babeth – I have the TZ20 so, I guess I need to upgrade – I see there is an ad for best 2018 camera – Panasonic Lumix TZ 200! When I got the 720 I was on my way to USA  and we did the Grand Canyon – but, driving through a canyon drive with snow falling and then on the highways  – I was just snapping this little camera out of the window and the clarity, considering we were travelling quite fast (not the time in the snow), was amazing. I find it frustrating not being able to see the shot in the window if it is sunny, my last camera had a viewfinder and that was a great help, but focusing took a second too long! The Panasonic is good for pocket and can go anywhere. What do you think of the little square go pro jobs with the anti-shake and anti all the other things? Trying to put up a couple of mine that I like but too big – gotta go back to source and change the size

Chekiwiki, here is a link given by VK months ago to downsize a picture. As I’m posting mine on Facebook too, I just copy them back from it, and the size is already ok for the forum. I don’t know about the little go pro, I’m a complete beginner in photography. What interest me in my camera, is it has a good zoom, which is precious when you like taking pictures of wild life. It has a view finder too, but don’t often use it. I sometimes think I could do with a tripod, but I’m not sure it will works with a pocket camera …..

Thank you for the link Babeth – I have checked it out and it will be a great help. I use Picasa and usually go back to that and re-send back to my file re-sized – but such a pain going back and forth. Unfortunately, I had prepared this message uploaded some pics and then realised that the internet had dropped – lost everything!

Your pond/window pic is very interesting BartyB – love those ‘figure ‘m out’ photos – very clever. What camera do you use? The reptile/bottle has great clarity.

Here is one of my favourites – taken on the beach one sunset last summer Les Grèves d’en Bas, four minutes from our house.

Gotta have the camera at hand for those kind of pics Fruitcake – love the one of the pigeon having a bath – squeezing himself into the birdbath LOL
