We live not far from Mur De Bretagne, and finding it easy to stay in doors during the winter (it’s warmer!). So, need to break this habit and seek out some places to go and get some live music, quiz’s, etc, and meet some new people.
Any suggestions please folks?!01st April 2019 at 8:38 am #465734

Central Brittany Journal is an English monthly magazine which has lots of information on what is going on. Also your local Mairie is a good source of local information.01st April 2019 at 9:10 am #465740

If you like rock music in it’s many genres you have a great little venue right in the doorstep at the Blues Garage, it operates as an association and membership is €1/night or €5/year (from memory). It’s near the post office and opposite the Credit Agricol bank Find it on FaceBook
The pizzeria at Beau Rivage just outside Caurel is under new management and seems to be making a determined effort to get some life going Restaurant Au Fil De Leau
There’s a semi regular quiz at the bar in St Gille Vieux Marche usually on 1st Wednesday of the month…. You do need to book in advance, if you pop in I’m sure they’ll have contact details at the bar.
The last Sunday morning of the month sees the Interesting Car Club meeting at Bon Repos, you don’t need a car and they seem like a friendly bunch. ICC Bretagne01st April 2019 at 6:56 pm #465831
