We are looking for a venue for a small weekend folk festival. It needs to have most of the following:
Be available end of Sept. beginning of Oct 2016
Have gite or similar accommodation for about 20 people with twin/single rooms
Be able to provide food and bar facilities over the weekend
Have several separate rooms where tuition for small groups can take place
Have a large bar area and a space that could be used for a small dance or concert
Have an area for a few camping cars
Possibilities could be a very large gite complex, camp site or a town that would like to hold this event.

    Any suggestions most welcome.

Callac town centre sports complex sounds favourite for this.
holds an annual cycling event for over 6,000 cyclists, plus supporters and tourists. The event has all the facilities you mention plus car parking facilities.

BJH. Good Idea. But the municipal camping park closes as far as I am aware at the end of July. Camping cars may though be able to park at the Commune Facilities Nr Intermarche. No good for PROPER campers Though.

I believe that is the facility used by the large number of Camper Vans and Campers who attend the cycle event with no difficulty.
Callac also has a train station on a line connected to the main rail routes.

BJH. Yes it is, you are totally correct. The OP ask for a venue with camping. That Facility will is not suitable for tenting or a lot of camping cars and caravans that need electricity. I personally, would think that the site used at Carhaix for the massive concert each year, would be more suitable. Camping, restaurants, B7Bs. Hotels, Bar facilities, toilets. The lot. Just a thought.

    And the cost at Carhaix???

The request was for a facility for a SMALL weekend Folk Festival.

I agree Carhaix is a good venue for huge events but may be very expensive to use for a small event.

The site at Carhaix for Les Veilles Charrues is éphèmere (sorry, forget the English), that’s to say at the time of the concerts a whole mini-town is created, afterwards it all disappears and just the land is left.

On the other hand, it might be worth contacting Espace Glenmor, the complex that houses the cinema at Carhaix; they do small concerts and have a bar and food facilities.
