@fitter , and wasn’t it the late Terrence Mckenna, who mentions Shaman using hallucinative plants and teas to, and I quote, “dissolve boundaries & see the wiring under the board.”

    Always loved that term :-)

Not to mention heal the villagers and animals

Possibly CB I didn’t/don’t understand it, even now. Another time someone was threatening me with great phyical harm, and Mum was in a shop buying something and she said I’ve got to go, now, came home to find me , I had been threatened on the telephone. Very strange .

Good point Bo, ‘life’ had to originate somewhere after all.

    (and evolve from?)

If you really want to know where humans came from then you need to watch the last episode of battlestar Galactica, explains everything.

NASA to announce interesting discovery Monday next. Evidently, the Hubble Space telescope has spotted evidence to suggest a subsurface ocean on Europa which it is claimed, could contain up to 2 x the amount of,water there is on Earth. Some scientists have estimated that there is enough oxygen in the water to support 3 million tons of fishlike creatures!

But how do they know it’s water? “Water” is what we on Earth call the oceans that surround us, but it’s a product of Earth’s chemical and climatic conditions. Up on Jupiter, it’s not likely to be the same thing at all.

Spectral analysis is used in analysing the planets atmospheres and makeups I would think. And this is not on Jupiter, but on one of it’s moons. Which are not gaseous but of a solid or in this case (Europa) a fluid / rocky/ice like nature. I guess come Monday, we’ll have a better idea.

I’ve just been reading a lecture by Professor S.W. Hawking about this subject. And it was a very interesting read.

To find it and read it, just enter ‘possibility of aliens’ in Google and click on  the third item

Life in the Universe – Stephen Hawking

For those interested, it is worth the read.

Nothing useful to say here so I’ll just put a load of ?????????????????’s

By the way, I think the conversation was referring to the beginning of the lecture, where it was remarked there upon, ‘the calculations, past historical events and behaviour of the Human race’ etc.

Fascinating to think of the possibilities

Great link @gleaner :good:   A Blue Peter Badge is on it’s way to you now :yahoo:

    Maybe @gleaner

Though they have also been know to withhold a lot of findings, apparently due to ‘International Security’, where they use the excuse that the moment everybody realizes that we aren’t the only ones in the universe, civil unrest will occur.

Nice of them to look after us all like that isn’t it ;-)
