    Hi,

    sometime ago I found a site that gave rail tickets very cheaply,My Partner now on Siemens programe for dualpacemaker/defib machine is not allowed at present to FLY !!-SO.THOUGHT ABOUT train travel to Spain,.t

    I believe there is  very inexpensive train ticket  scheme ravel in France to Where ever–we are in 22530 and  would like to go to Spain-for a holiday.HELP PLEASE :good:

    We are both over 70 yrs!!-still kicking !!

    You can have a look on the SNCF website

    The trouble is I don’t think there is any direct train from Rennes. You might need to go to Paris first, arriving in gare Montparnasse and then have to take another train from gare de Lyon (in Paris too, but not in the same place, so taxi or metro)

    I have always used the SNCF website and put in depart and destination stations and the site will work out your itinerary  I believe there are cards available the Senior + which give discounts Booking in advance can also help by getting “Prem” tickets  Sign up on the website to get early notification of offers The senior card offers 40% off 1st Class 25% on 2nd and 10% on Prems

    There is also a coach Eurocar ( I think )that could be quicker in the long run with less changes .
