“Guns are not the answer to anything apart from making money for the manufacturers”

You may have a different veiwpoint if you live in a town like this in Wisconsin USA.

It’s not a small town out in the wilds, it’s got 37000 population.

I won’t be changing my mind anytime soon.  This morning it has been like WW3 around here.  There is gunfire very close to the houses behind me and the sound of children.  About 15 shots so far.  Clearly not the chasse.  They usually scare off the game with the first couple of shots and then move on.  If I had enough French I would ask the gendarmes to look into it.    Its just north of Plougonver if anyone is interested.  I won’t be walking my dog today.

On the news this morning, President Trump is considering training and arming teachers who will work at school with a concealed weapon on their person.  What utter madness and stupidity, only Trumpy could come up with such backward thinking idea.  Mrs BH is a teacher and thinks the idea is madness and if such a move was enforced here in the UK she would flatly refuse.  The idea that all teachers are good balanced people is wrong, I could imagine a frustrated teacher who is under pressure and dealing with some difficult kid losing it and land up shooting someone, it’s bound to happen.
