It was cold here today , weird, but I prefer it to the hot days of February ! ( or was it January ? ) not just the weather that is mixed up .

Don’t worry about Radon , Roger , those that ask to be removed are the ones that want to be told ” don’t go ” :yahoo: ( chase me syndrome )

Poured with rain yesterday , was in Limoges to pick up Jen from the airport . I went to the garden centre to fill in the time , with the sun out it was hot like Summer  , then it rained/hailed so much that the road was full of water and the temperature dropped 10 degrees. :-)

Hahaha…..so you think as that never happened Radon has swerved leaving and will have another go later and hope that people respond. Perhaps Radon will tell us himself why he didn’t leave, although I am always puzzled why people simply don’t leave without the requirement of being told to stay, is it failed egoism? B-)

Nooooo Babeth , he was on the first photo , the second is our older ram that was born here two years ago .

Weather here still changeable ,we ate lunch in Limoges , not great , we often try different restaurants , sometimes it’s good but the standard is certainly going down . :-)

Well, I’m glad I took notice of the weather forecast and got the strimming and grass cutting done yesterday as it’s decidedly hit and miss today, as predicted. The poor tomatoes and peppers are waiting for a bit of warmth and are struggling to look positive about life – I guess plants are like us! Mind you, I don’t count myself in that analogy as there isn’t a lot that stops me being positive about life, fortunately.

What a miserable day, cold and wet. At least it’s light rain, no ice ball falling down, like in certain areas

We’ve had a lovely day here, got the washing dry, cleaned out the outdoor kennel the cats sleep in and washed their bedding, yet in Cardiff which is not far  away as the crow flies they’ve had a lot of rain.

Fire alight again tonight, perhaps we’ll have a long, late Indian summer and so balance out the wood usage! Believe it or not these photos were taken at 8.30 pm today and not last Autumn! Can’t even see the wind turbines because of the drizzle!

Another beautiful morning , the oriole is still warbling  in the trees and the cuckoo calls in the afternoon . The weather is good for somethings , I found two kilo of cepes behind the house yesterday , so breakfast this morning and enough for the Winter in the freezer .

I had a lovely, warm and sunny walk with Conny first thing, contemplating the possibility of getting some washing done and out in the air on my return – no way, back to grey skies and showers, ahh well ’tis Sunday after all.

I think Deboer has organised this weather to stop me spraying Roundup! ;-)    Cold and windy yet again. Trying to avoid the Calvados bottle. Still I’ve got beef stew and dumplings for dinner.

You can spray as much roundup as you like my friend , just do it around yourself and inhale a bit too ! :yahoo: Poison is poison , do unto others etc ?

Reading your posts , you will soon be returning to the old country anyway , spray some there ?

It was beautiful here today , we spent all day in the garden , weeding , had a gigot with everything from the garden for dinner ( or tea , as they say in Norway ) and now are tired , ready to sleep . :-) :-)

After a dodgy start, the day got better so was able to spend time in the garden, all has been fed with the liquid gold of comfrey juice! Dug up four of the pepper plants for Mr. F. to pot up and keep in the greenhouse (the two he had already in there are head and shoulders above those in the garden – they like the warmth and haven’t had enough yet in the garden!) And of course the never-ending weeding!
