    The only good thing about ‘er indoors being back in the UK for 3 days is that I can listen to all sorts of crap without seeing a raised eyebrow. Anyway, this evening whilst cooking enough chilli to last 3 days, I’ve been listening to Fleetwood Mac, Radiohead, Gay Dad and this;

    I’m not the biggest Elton John fan in the world, and there are loads of brilliant performances on The Old Grey Whistle Test, but this has to be up there in the top 5 I reckon.
    I’m not even drunk yet………..

    @tizzler I just listened to this and smiled a lot, thank you! It made me feel nostalgic and think of this song by ELO, weirdly not linked but is in my childhood mind and makes me happy :yes: I don’t know how to link videos, sorry!!!

    @witchypoo Mr blue sky has got to be one of the greatest tracks ever, cant help but smile when I hear it and always reminds me of my Tech Drawing days at school as we all used to sing snippets once the teacher had buggared off to the staff room leaving us to get on with our projects.

    I even have a copy of the single… on BLUE vinyl :yahoo: remember those? :wacko:

    Music is one of my favourite things-not a day goes by without listening to something and my taste is very eclectic. Today we have been in the company of Van Morrison, Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac, Sting, Will Young, Ministry of Sound and Sterophonics. Bliss. :yahoo:

    Windy! Certainly takes me back! I remember being 15! Makes the Radio 4 I am listening to sound rather boring!

    Ok, definitely not drunk, not a drop has passed my lips today, but this is well worth a watch.

    Imagine having the balls to play this song to Led Zep!!! The guitarist must have been bricking it!

    Loving this thread, my music taste is so diverse!, everything except heavy jazzy stuff.
    I met Mark Knopfler in 1985 at a concert where Philips launched the Brothers in Arms CD. I fell in love with Dire Straits that night, and this still gives me goosebumps….or that might just be Mark Knopfler! 😂❤️❤️😂

    Tizzler i can’t get anything done cos of you!
    I am now sat with a glass of red taking a meander down the years instead of preparing dinner! Got to thinking about all the great stars we have lost recently, including Colin Vearncombe who was involved in a dreadful car accident, and later died from his injuries. I love this;..
